Dr. Audey Nasser

Dr. Audey Nasser completed his medical education at the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine, and is board-certified by both the American Board of Podiatric Medicine as well as the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.  

He has practiced Podiatry for the last 8 years and specializes in treating a variety of complex foot and ankle conditions.

Dr. Nasser completed his training at a high intensity surgical practice in Detroit, MI. He has experience treating and managing trauma, motor vehicle accidents, gun shot wounds, diabetic foot management, limb salvage, Charcot reconstruction, and wound care management.

Dr. Nasser also has extensive experience in bunion and hammertoe correction, tendon repair, and a variety of other foot and ankle pathologies. He will exhaust all conservative treatment options prior to any surgical treatments taking place.

For our patients convenience, Dr. Nasser offers clinic visits as well as home, assisted living and nursing home visits.

Dr. Nasser’s Journey to Podiatry

Dr. Nasser grew up in Orlando Florida, there he was a child actor. He worked as a Barney kid, and was on the cover of a magazine with Shaquille O’Neal, as well on multiple Nickelodeon shows. From Florida he moved to Michigan, where he started doing gymnastics. He was raked 1st all around in men’s gymnastics in the state of Michigan. After an ankle injury during practice is where he was introduced to the world of podiatry. From high school to undergraduate school he volunteered at a podiatrist’s office learning about the field. Dr. Nasser eventually found himself at Kent State College of Podiatric Medicine.


While in in school he excelled in his academics, and completed extracurricular activities such a tutoring in anatomy. After medical school, he completed a three-year surgical residency training program treating complex medical and surgical conditions of the foot and ankle. He is surgical trained in diabetic foot infections, Charcot foot reconstruction, all types of forefoot and rearfoot surgery such as bunion and hammertoe correction as well as flatfoot reconstruction. During residency while visiting Chicago, he met his wife Lana, who is a Chicago Native. Once married she moved to Detroit soon after with him to finish his training. Their idea was always to go back to Chicago area and start a practice. Once residency was completed, they decided to spend a few years working in the Detroit area and surrounding suburbs. In addition to treating patients in the area, he was part of the teaching staff at the Henry Ford Hospital in Wyandotte, Michigan where he was awarded teaching staff of the year in 2019.
